Members and their organizations are obligated to abide by national and universal legal norms. They shall conduct themselves in a manner consistent with business and societal ethics, refraining from engaging in any disapproved practices. They must conduct their affairs with integrity and honesty, avoiding harm to third parties knowingly. They shall not exploit any confidential information for personal interests or engage in unethical conduct contrary to commercial customs. Misleading statements or promotions regarding their or others' commercial and financial benefits are strictly prohibited.

Members are required to safeguard the interests and reputation of the club.

Upon application, the Board of Directors will inform applicants of their acceptance to club membership within thirty days from the application date. Membership acceptance does not discriminate based on factors such as religion, language, race, or political views.

The Board of Directors has the authority to determine the entrance and membership fees and announce any changes at the beginning of each year. Expanding membership categories is subject to the General Assembly's discretion, which decides on such matters by vote of the majority.

Membership dues are paid annually as annual dues. The entrance fee is a one-time payment collected from new members upon their acceptance into the club. Annual dues are obligatory payments that club members are required to make each year as per the Bylaws. However, the Board of Directors may decide not to charge an entrance fee at its discretion.

CLUB MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES

The club offers 4 types of membership:

1) Corporate Business Membership

2) Individual Business Membership

3) Professionals' Membership

4) Honorary Membership

Business Membership:

Effective from the club's founding date, business membership requires members to assume all responsibilities related to membership and meet the general membership criteria. Applicants must be actively working as self-employed professionals, either as owners or partners of commercial enterprises or be registered with the relevant professional organization.

Business Members enjoy the full benefits of membership, provided they pay the specified dues according to the Bylaws, complete the membership form accurately, comply with relevant laws and the club's Bylaws as per the Internal Regulations, and are approved for Business Membership by the Board of Directors.

Business Members have the right to vote and be elected, holding full rights and authority in all club organs while participating in club activities.

Business membership is not time-limited and continues indefinitely, unless members voluntarily resign from the club or their membership is terminated according to conditions specified in the Bylaws.

Business Membership is divided into two main categories: Corporate Members and Individual Members. Corporate Members can include up to three representatives from the member company, and the dues amount to 100 CAD. Individual Members include the owner of the member company, with dues amounting to 50 CAD.

Professional Membership:

Effective from the club's founding date, professionals' membership requires members to assume all responsibilities related to membership and meet the general membership criteria. Applicants must have gained work experience in a company or public institution or be actively involved in business life as professional business people.

Professional Members enjoy the full benefits of membership, provided they pay the specified dues according to the Bylaws, complete the membership form accurately, comply with relevant laws and the club's Bylaws as per the Internal Regulations, and are approved for Professionals' Membership by the Board of Directors. The dues for this membership are 50 CAD.

Professional Members have the right to vote and be elected, holding full rights and authority in all club organs while participating in club activities.

Honorary Membership:

The title of honorary membership is granted by unanimous decision of the Board of Directors to institutions and individuals who have made significant technical, administrative, professional, spiritual, or cultural contributions to the club, the business world, and humanity.

Honorary Members are neutral persons and institutions who do not have the right to vote and be elected. They can attend General Assembly meetings without voting rights. Honorary Members are exempt from paying dues. The Board of Directors may, by majority vote, terminate honorary membership if the necessary conditions for honorary membership cease to exist.

MEMBERSHIP PROCEDURES

Leaving the Club Membership:

Each member has the right to resign from the club by providing written notification. The member's resignation is effective upon receipt by the Board of Directors. Resignation from membership does not absolve the member from any accumulated debts to the club, and the resigning member must pay the dues for the membership period.

Termination of Club Membership:

Club membership will be terminated if any of the following situations occur:

  • The existence of a condition that legally prohibits club membership, as per the Societies Act and relevant legislation,

  • Failure to pay membership dues during the specified period, despite receiving a written notice.
